Responsibilities:-
- The Design Engineer is responsible for 3D detailed design activities, for the overall scope of supply, requiring deep understanding of customer requirements and basic conceptual design drawings
- He/She will perform all analysis and documentation needed for manufacture, buy from external suppliers, for all the assigned structure and equipment needed for the functionality of the assigned scope
- The profile also requires issuing customer
- The Design Engineer is Responsible for the technical development of part of a job (requisition) or part of a new project (NPI). She/He optimizes the design in terms of reliability, manageability and cost
- Coordinates and controls the activities performed by external resources related to the assigned job
- Ensures expected results in term of quality, execution time, cost, etc
- Ability to use advanced design tools (like 3D CAD, UG, ProE, SolidWorks)
Essential Functions / Responsibilities: (Can NOT modified)
- Independently performs most design assignments
- Responsible for the technical development of part of a job (requisition) or part of a new project (NPI)
- Ensures appropriate documentation (layout, spec, design assy/ stack-up / specification studies, Bill of Materials)
- Interfaces with PE or Program Manager, DE, Testing, Sourcing, Quality & Manufacturing; also interfaces with component/ system vendors
- Coordinates the activities performed by external resources related to the assigned job
- Ensures expected results in term of quality, execution time, and cost (within control)
- Use of design tools (like 2D/ 3D CAD (AC/ProE/UG), Excel, and in-house design calc)
Requirements:-
Basic Qualifications: (We can Modify only the type of Background that we are looking for)
- Mechanical /Aeronautical / Civil /Electrical Engineering or Associates/ Technical Diploma or Equivalent Background
- At least 5 yrs’ experience as Designer, at least 3 full projects successfully completed
- Working knowledge of mechanical/ electrical systems
- Knowledge of using design CAD tools and demonstrated experience in use
- Ability to understand and implement design lay-outs for overall assemblies and applying drawing standards
- Ability to work in teams and achieve targets
- Strong detail focus and product definition quality
- Ability to work in a global environment
- Fluency in English
