1.Responsibilities/Job Roles Work closely with research scientists and engineers from multidisciplinary teams on programs ranging from long-term and exploratory research to applied research & development to serve many GE businesses. This position requires the capabilities of unit operation design, process optimization and system integration, as well as cost trade-offs in the development of process technologies such as water desalination, wastewater treatment, electrochemical separation or electrochemical energy storage system Qualifications/Requirements · PhD/MS in Chemical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/Electrochemical Engineering, research experiences in water processing engineering is a plus.
· 3+ years industrial experience is required.
· Proven record of technical accomplishments in the related field with hands-on skills and system experiences
· Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional development team.
· Self-starter, independent thinker, proactive problem solver
· Excellent ability to consider overall problem, identify opportunities and implement major changes
· Motivated by quality, cost and speed
